Frequently asked questions

What is an Amazon FBA removal order?+
A removal order is your instruction to Amazon to return FBA inventory back to you (or dispose of it). Amazon picks, packs, and ships items from their fulfilment centres to your return address. Each order can contain multiple shipments from different warehouses, each with its own tracking number. Units can go missing at every stage — during picking, packing, transit, or delivery — and Amazon won’t tell you.
How long do I have to file a reimbursement claim?+
In the UK: 74 days from shipment creation for lost-in-transit claims (but you must wait at least 15 days after the last confirmed carrier movement). For damage or grading disputes, you have 60 days from delivery. Filing too early gets rejected. Filing too late means the window is permanently closed. The Reimbursement Deadlines guide covers every timing rule in detail.
What claim templates are included?+
Ten copy/paste templates covering every common scenario: lost in transit, missing units, split shipment missing cartons, stuck pending, damaged in transit, grading dispute, disposal reimbursement, too-early resubmission, denied claim escalation, and follow-up chaser. Each template includes a short version for live chat and a detailed version for email, plus what to attach and what to do if denied.
How do I start filing claims?+
Start with the Filing Reimbursement Claims guide — it covers the four valid claim types, what evidence Amazon actually wants, and how to structure your case. Then pick the right template for your situation. If you’re unsure about timing, check the Reimbursement Deadlines guide first. If Amazon rejects your claim, the Denied Claim Escalation template has a 7-level escalation ladder.
